NEW YORK—Oct. 1, 2024—OXIO, the leading Telecom-as-a-Service (TaaS) platform, today announced the appointment of Angela Lim as Chief Growth Officer. Lim, formerly the Assistant Vice President of Network and Wholesale Monetization at AT&T, brings over two decades of telecom industry experience to OXIO’s leadership team.
Lim will develop and drive OXIO’s long-term, sustainable growth strategy and vision as the company further expands into North America and beyond. She will focus on advancing OXIO’s presence in core target markets, optimizing current and future partnerships and shaping product development to meet emerging market needs and maximize return on investment.
“I’m pleased to welcome a seasoned leader like Angela to our leadership team as we continue to expand our market reach and Telecom-as-a-Service capabilities,” said OXIO CEO and co-founder Nicolas Girard. “We look forward to Angela bringing her extensive experience and applying that to create a successful and sustainable growth strategy for OXIO that will help us in our mission of building the global network of the future.”
Lim’s appointment follows OXIO’s strategic hires of Adil Belihomji, former CTO at Verizon, and Glenn Teuber, former COO at Google Fi, in 2023. This latest addition further strengthens OXIO’s C-Suite and leadership team, which now boasts expertise from leaders across Verizon, AT&T, Google Fi, Mavenir, DISH Network, MATRIXX and Uber.
“As I join OXIO, I’m excited to shape and execute its growth strategy in a rapidly evolving Telecom-as-a-Service landscape,” Lim said. “OXIO’s advanced technology is reshaping the industry by leveraging existing network infrastructure and bringing programmable connectivity to the cloud. This innovation fills a critical market gap, enabling operators, enterprises, and brands to unlock new value and drive customer acquisition. OXIO is the future of telecom, and I’m thrilled to help lead this next phase of connectivity.”
OXIO’s expansion in North America will benefit from Lim’s engineering background and tenure at AT&T, where she most recently spearheaded its revenue growth and profitability initiatives within the wholesale MVNx segment. Her industry knowledge will help accelerate OXIO’s operator integrations, opening up new avenues for business development and growth.
